Hi, my name is David Soper. I’ve been inspired by the Word of God and enjoy sharing my inspiration with others. Here’s a little about my life.

Happily married since 1992, my wife, Connie, and I are the proud parents of two canines, Sonny and Oscar. We are both from the midwest, Michigan and Illinios, and now live near the Mexican border in McAllen, Texas.

For the past six years we have been active members of Palm Valley Church, a dynamic, growing, Christ centered fellowship here in the Rio Grande Valley, where Connie and I are the directors of Small Groups ministries. I also serve on the Board of Directors for PVC. We love living in deep south Texas and belonging to the PVC family. Before moving to Texas, we were blessed to be part of Harvest Bible Chapel in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, where we served as small group leaders and coaches.

My educational background is Engineering (Michigan Technological University) and Theology (Trinity Evangelical Divinity School). I continue to work in the business world while actively serving in ministry.

My favorite leisure activities are enjoying family time, golf, and gardening. My ministry passions are Biblical teaching and building Christian community which I enjoy pursuing with Connie, my best friend and ministry partner.

The name comes from a favorite song of ours. Inspired.. by the Word of God, was recorded by Grace and Glory of JPUSA in Chicago. It came out in 1996, and one of our good friends, Angel Harold was a member of the Grace and Glory choir that recorded this album.
